Esther barely waited for Joy to sit down. “You won’t believe what’s happened—I’ve had three opportunities to share about Jesus today.”
Joy smiled like a teacher satisfied their student is applying what they’re taught. “Have you been praying for opportunities?”
“Yes, every day.”
“Then I’m not surprised. God has simply answered your prayers.”
There was silence while Esther chewed the thought over and swallowed it.
“Now, let me see if I can guess who you talked to,” Joy said. “Was it the angry lady, Dr Webster, and the science teacher?”
“Two out of three correct. I didn’t have a chance with Dr Webster, but the others were amazing conversations. I said things I didn’t expect.”
“Didn’t I tell you the Holy Spirit would give you the words? The only extraordinary thing is your surprise.
