“Third person’s POV”
Ace thought he could no longer keep up with the lies. He finally decided to tell Eric why the security of the house was elevated before Eric's life gets into danger.
“Where are you?” Ace asked before exposing the truth.
“Me? I’m inside my car. On the way to work!” Eric replied.
“Ah! I wanted to take some days off from work. Won’t you be able to get some leave as well? So we all can take our family out and have some vacation?” Ace asked.
“No, Dad! I cannot let all these years of hardworking get into waste. This is the very last week I have. I need to finish all the pending works before the deadline or else all my hard work will go in vain,” Eric explained.
