“Why? I mean all of a sudden?” Ace inquired once again.
“I just don’t think I take to fulfill all of her wishes as her partner. Even just now...,” Eric trailed off, not wanting to complete his sentence. He lowered his gaze and looked at the floor.
“I understand, son. But you need to try hard and don’t give up,” Ace tried to convince Eric.
“I’m already trying hard enough,” Eric replied and got seated on his chair.
