“What? But how did he get inside the house so easily and use the elevator so freely with no fear?” Eric asked while walking towards his father.
“Here’s only two guards lying on the floor. Where did the other two go? I had made special orders to tighten the security and keep eyes on the CCTV footages which is why an extra two guards were kept in here!” Ace mumbled in confusion.
“That’s it! It is the reason why the man was moving inside our house freely. He had contacts with our guards. Some of them are corrupted!” Eric said instantly as soon as he perceived his father’s words.
“And I’m pretty sure none of the guards we had before would ever betray me. If any of the guards are corrupted, then it must be some of the newly hired ones!” Ace said.
