“Third Person’s POV”
The girl slowly marched inside the farmhouse. She moved her eyes all over the luxurious surroundings. Once she was satisfied looking around, she turned her face towards Eric.
Eric kept gawking at the beauty in front of him. Strange and foreign feelings started to conquer inside of him. All of a sudden, there was an urge to get close to the girl. It seemed as if her eyes were inviting him.
The girl wrapped her arms around her perfect body and started rubbing her hands onto her arms. The actions made Eric snap out of his thoughts. He realized she was shivering.
Eric cleared his throat and corrected the look on his face.
“Let me turn off the air conditioner,” Eric said and marched towards the round coffee table where the air conditioner’s remote was placed.
“Ah, no! You don’t have to!” The girl shyly added.
“Why?” Eric looked at the girl in shock. After, he realized the way he laid his question might be inappropriate.
“I mean... I thought you were feeling cold!” Eric rephrased his sentence.
“Yes, I am. But it’s your place, so why would you turn off the air conditioner for a stranger like me? I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable at your place!” She sheepishly said.
“Honestly, it’s okay for me. Besides, I can never feel comfortable while someone around me is shivering out of the cold!” Eric smiled.
“That’s so nice of you. Trust me I won’t stay long. Just waiting till the rain stops. After, I will leave!” She said.
Eric felt disappointed after hearing the word ‘leaving’. He wanted to be close to the girl and never let her go out of his sight.
“Ah! As you wish,” Eric agreed.
That’s when the sound of thunder pierced their ears. The girl screamed out of fear and hugged Eric’s body.
As instant as the girl’s arms wrapped around Eric’s body, he became still. He didn’t know how to react. The sweet scent of her body hit Eric’s nose. He was eager to hug back the girl but was afraid thinking it could hurt her.
After a couple of seconds, the girl instantly realized she was hugging Eric. She suddenly stepped backward after pulling her hands away from Eric.
It was raining even heavier than before.
“But I don’t think the rain is going to stop anytime soon. If you stay too long in those wet clothes, you might get sick. Let me turn off the air conditioner.” Eric turned around and grabbed the remote. After, he switched off the air conditioner.
“Is there something wearable? I mean for a girl? I honestly want to get rid of this wet outfit!” She girl shyly asked.
“Let me check if the wardrobe is inside the room. Come with me!” Eric said and started marching towards the only room in the farmhouse.
The girl obediently followed him. Eric opened the huge wardrobe and showed some t-shirts and shorts while adding, “these are my clothes. If you want, you can choose something from here.”
The girl nodded in response.
“Great! Till then, I will go make something hot to drink for you!” Eric said.
“Would you like coffee or tea?” Eric confirmed.
“Coffee!” The girl replied.
“Cool! Will be back soon!” Eric turned around and marched out of the room.
When Eric was done preparing the coffee for both of them, he marched towards the room and knocked on the door. When the permission was granted, Eric got inside the room.
The girl was wearing a red-colored shirt and black shorts. It looked cute on her. She was standing near Eric’s study table. That’s when he remembered he didn’t turn off his laptop and porn videos were playing on it. He felt embarrassed thinking the girl might have opened his laptop.
“That’s my coffee, right? Can I take it?” The girl asked. Eric snapped out of his thoughts and faked a smile while his heart was beating faster.
“Thanks!” The girl said after taking the cup out of the tray which Eric was holding.
“When I knocked on the door, I didn’t know I would get this much hospitality from a rich man like you!” She said while looking directly into Eric’s eyes.
Eric kept looking at the girl. He didn’t know what to say. It seemed as if his lips were sealed.
“Do you have a girlfriend? Or are you married?” The girl asked out of blue.
“What? No! I don’t!” Eric uttered in shock.
“Why do you feel the urgency to ask?” Eric inquired.
“I don’t know! I don’t want your girl to come here and find me and then start a scene!” The girl laughingly added.
“Ah, Nah! Don’t worry! You can stay with no worry!”
“So is it okay if I spend the night here? But I guess this place has only one room!”
“Yeah! I have no issue. I can sleep outside in the living room!” Eric said.
“What if we don’t sleep tonight? How about watching a movie? I can’t let you sleep on the couch in your place!” She said while lost in deep thoughts.
“Watching a movie sounds great to me!” Eric said a whose only wish, for now, was to spend as much time as possible with the girl. Deeply in his heart, he knew she was the girl whom he was looking for for ages.
Both of them stood there and discussed the movie they wanted to watch. But it seemed like they couldn’t decide on a movie.
“I want to watch titanic!” The girl suggested.
“Why titanic? It was released ages ago!” Eric asked as if he was really into movies.
“Because I never got the chance to watch the whole movie! When I was a kid, my parents wouldn’t let me watch it, and now since they aren’t around things aren’t the same and it’s been ages since I have a watched a movie!” The girl’s statement made Eric agree to her decision.
The TV was mounted to the fore of the huge bed. They both had no choice other than to get on the bed. So they both got on the bed and laid
