“Is there anything bothering you?” Eric confirmed.
“I just miss my mommy! I wish she was here with me!” That was the only words which Mireya kept repeatedly saying.
“It’s okay to sometimes miss her. I bet she is missing you too, right now! Just be a strong girl for her and let’s wait till she can return to you,” Eric tried to console Mireya whose mood was completely spoiled.
Sheila decided to edge closer to Mireya and landed one of her hands on Mireya’s shoulder.
“Maybe your mom is planning something huge for you? If she finds out you are sad here, she may drop the plan thinking you didn’t like it!?” Sheila added. Mirey turned her head to look at Sheila. Her eyes showed confusion. Mireya kept looking at Sheila and stayed still for a couple of seconds.
