“Is he coming this way? Is he still following us?” Chelly asked. She did not look outside out of the fear she had inside of her.
“Yes, I see his car right behind us,” Eric replied while looking outside from the tinted window.
“What does he wants from us?” Ava said irritatedly.
“Are we in danger?” Chelly said. Ace looked at her and was about to respond to her question when he learned Chelly’s body was shaking. She was literally trembling out of fear.
Even if no one can understand what was going on with her, Ace knew. Chelly had a tough time trusting people and she had been betrayed not once but many times in the past before she met Ace.
