Gavin POV The echo of Max’s quiet warning hung in the space between us, heavy and suffocating. *“I think Natalie is hiding who she really is from you.”* I sat glued to the sofa, completely paralyzed as those words struck my chest like a physical blow. A cold wave of disbelief washed over me, numbing my hands and making my heart hammer violently against my ribs.
