Siya is dead

Ian's POV

I still remember the day I found my cupcake in a bloodied mess.

Flashback

"Cupcake...no...don't leave me...Please stay...I have failed to protect you...Please please please ...don't leave me like this when I have found you finally".I cried holding her lifeless body in my arms feeling devastated.For a moment,I thought that I had lost my sister forever.

Suddenly, I felt that she was gasping for air and saw that she was struggling to breath.She strained to open her eyes and when she saw that it was me she cried out holding me and complained like a child,

"I-Ian h-he used me I-Ian...he played with my feelings...I saw him with A-Ashley and h-he asked them to have their way with me before murdering me.I-I hate h-him I-Ian...I-I hate him ..r-release me from this pain I-Ian..I don't want this toxic relationship a-a-ny-mo-re",this was her words to me before she blacked out again.She had lost a lot of blood.

I was frozen seeing her state.But then my instincts kicked in and brought me back from my frozen state and I hurriedly took her to the nearest hospital within no time

"Nothing will happen to you cupcake...I will not let death take you away from us again",I promised her and myself in my mind.

Four hours ...it took four  hours for her surgery and the doctors almost lost her once during the surgery.The bullet missed her heart by an inch but she was miraculously saved.She was placed in clinically induced coma.It was at that moment I decided that I will take my sister away from David and his toxic family.She deserved happiness not a relationship which was nothing but venomous for her.

Before that I planned to expose everyone who had  plotted against my cupcake.I wanted to kill David for cheating on my sister and trying to kill her.But at that time,my sister needed me more and I intended to take my her back to Italy.David didn't deserve her love and I had vowed that I would take her away from him if he ever hurt her.With that intention on my mind,the first thing I did was to fake her death.For that,first time in my life I used my dad's name and our family status just for the sake of my Vina.Yes,it's true...I have never used my dad's name or power anywhere for my benefit.I even hid my original name ,so that no one would see me as the member of the mighty Knight family.

Keeping my ego aside ,I called my dad and informed him that I have found Davina.The news shocked my dad and he and Damien reached Vegas the next day morning on our private jet.My dad was devastated at the sight of his long lost daughter lying almost like a lifeless doll in the intensive care and he broke down.He was also angry at the sametime and wanted to crush everyone who were responsible for her condition.Damien calmed him down saying that Vina was more important than any revenge and it can wait till she recovers.

   And then everything happened pretty fast.My dad threatened the doctors and had her discharged so that he could take her with him to Italy.And in the mean time,I exposed Amanda and her minions in front of Drew before leaving for Italy.

  Once we reached Italy,dad converted our family home into a mini hospital with a team of  expert doctors to take care of our Vina.It was quite distressing to see my dad and mom heartbroken because of Vina's condition.Dad refused to eat or drink and waited outside his daughter's room just to see her wake up from coma.All of us were equally in pain when the doctors warned us about her weak state. Vina woke up from the induced coma after a week and she was traumatised seeing the new surroundings.I still remember her panicking seeing us all.

"I-Ian...Where am I?",she questioned me in confusion.

"Home...you are home ..cupcake",I said hugging her.

"Home?...but I don't ...",she sobbed in pain.

"Relax ,little bear...You are home finally...This is your real family,cupcake,...You are my sister..."I hesitated as she was still weak and didn't know how she will react.

"W-What are you saying Ian?Where am I?"

"Milan ..we are in Milan..."

"How?...But I was..."she held her head and I knew that she was recollecting the events that had happened to her.

"No...they...they t-tried to kill me..I-I..."she screamed out in pain as her memories rushed back to her and dad barged in followed by mom ,Damien and Isabella unable to see his daughter in pain.

"Vina...my little bear...are you ok?",he asked cupping her face.

"Stay away from me,Who are you?"..she said trying to push away dad from her.

Tears streamed down my dad's eyes as he saw that as his own daughter failed to recognize him.

"Vina...sweetie..I'm your dad..sweetie don't worry we are here for you..."he tried to hug her again but Vina started crying much to his dismay.

"I-I'm Siya..not Vina..Ian..who is he?",she asked but stopped seeing my mom sobbing like a baby.

"Ian...mom...am I at your home?",she asked still confused .

"It's your home as well ,sister".Damien said holding her hands.

She jerked his hands off ,feeling too befuddled at the scene that unfolded before her.She gave me a look of disbelief ,making my heart clench in pain.

"Cupcake..it's true...you are the long lost daughter of  Dominique and Delilah Knight and our beloved sister Davina",I said trying to calm her down though a volcano was erupting inside me.

"How?",she asked again,still unable to believe what she heard.

I briefed her about how we had lost her and how her kidnapper had faked her death and had handed her over to the Parker family.After hearing me out she didn't react ,she just was lost in her own world.The doctors advised us not to stress her out any further as she had a chance to slip into depression.For the next two weeks ,she seemed distant and aloof ,answering to questions in one word particularly avoiding all others except me.Eventually she started showing signs of depression and we were all worried for her.But then something became a ray of hope in her life and helped her come out of her depressing state .

         Initially she would have nightmares and panic attacks repeatedly. As her health was deteriorating and as she trusted only me ,I decided to stay back in Italy for the sake of my sister.Isabella's friendly nature and sarcasm made Vina accept her faster than anyone else. Slowly,she accepted dad,mom and Damien as her family.Dad's joy knew no bounds when Vina finally called him dad for the first time.He behaved like a child who had eaten icecream for the first time,giggling and crying at the same time.She was hesitant to interact with Damien initially, but he showered her with so much love and affection non stop that she  fell for his charms.Well,I was jealous seeing the bond that developed between them because that moron brother of mine never showed such love towards me.All we do till date was either argue or fight,but I know he loves me but don't know how to show it.The same goes with me too.

  Taking baby steps, my cupcake walked out of depression determined to live her life to the fullest with the support and affection of our family.Vina's affection towards dad grew day by day so much that they both became inseparable.My dad worked from home taking care of his precious daughter for more than a year.Vina became his only priority and he blamed her sufferings on him.He was determined to ruin every one who had inflicted pain on his daughter.But she stopped him ,saying that she didn't want to do anything with the people from her past.She wanted to forget all her misfortunes and move on with her life.I was amused to see how dad complied with her decision as soon as those words left her mouth.The great Dominique Knight who never listens to anyone,obliged to her request without any question.But he wanted something from her in return and she unwillingly gave her consent.

  Soon Vina started taking online classes and showed interest in jewellery designing.Dad was ready to finance her ,but she stubbornly refused and independently started working as a small designer and slowly achieved her goal.And through these four years, she grew cold and distant and had trust issues with people who were not her family.

When I came to know of David's truth,I informed mom and dad quickly of his innocence.But dad didn't want Vina to go back to that hell ,so he threatened me to ruin David and his family.And I know my dad way better than anyone,he is not a person to give empty threats.But mom was rather disappointed at dad's decision because unlike dad she knew that Vina could love only David.

And as for David,I wanted to spill the truth and even had gone to his mansion to reveal the truth.Unfortunately,he was not there and to my surprise I met his dad Mr.James King there.

"So...Mr.Ian Knight..How are you doing?",he had surprised me by taking my surname.

"How did you find out,Mr.King?"

"Your mom...she was my business partner's daughter..and that day at Mr.Brown's party she had revealed that she was here because you suspected a certain someone to be your long lost sister",he said looking straight into my eyes.

"Siya was your sister.Am I right,son?"

"Yes ,she is my sister",I replied.

"What do you mean by she is your sister?"

"She is very much alive,Mr.King.I was in misunderstanding that David had tried to murder her,so I took her away from him.She is currently in Milan with my family",I confessedthe truth.

James sat down holding his chin and gasped.

"Thank God, She is alive and safe.God bless that child.She had gone through a lot",he said  sighing in relief.

"I'm here to tell David that she is alive.I don't want to keep him in dark about her whereabouts.He has a right to know since he loves her so much.I have personally seen him yearn for her,Mr.King",I told him my purpose of visit.

"No ...I don't want you to reveal anything to David,yet.I want Siya to experience love and affection from her family which she had missed all these years.And also she has the right to achieve her dreams.Then she can decide whether to forgive my son or not and only she has the right to do so.If you reveal the truth to David now,he will do anything and everything to bring her back here.So promise me son...you will not tell anything to David for now",he requested holding my hands.

"I promise,Mr.King,I will wait for the right moment",I assured him as I understoodwhat he was saying.

"But I have to tell you something regarding my sister".

"Is something wrong with her?"

"No...but..."Then I told him a secret of my sister that me and my family were hiding.

He was shocked at first but then gathered himself and told me,"Take care of her Ian,not just because she is your sister,but she is also the daughter in law of the King family".

And I forbade myself from telling the truth to David,while James also acted like he didn't know anything.

Davina was also not ready to listen to my revelations regarding David.And she had decided to marry Darian.But I was also her headstrong brother,so I decided to give her time to establish herself as a good jewellery designer.

In the meantime,I digged out Darian's details with the help of Isabella.And  the rest was planned by me and Isabella who didn't want Vina to be in a loveless marriage.I invited David to the wedding so as to stop it on time as I knew that neither of my family members except for my mom and Isabella were ready to support me in my course.

Flashback ends

So now either I will get murdered by my dad and Damien or by David..either way my death is guaranteed today.One reason for  my death would be for stopping by sister's wedding and the other reason is for not letting know David that Siya was alive all these years even after seeing him writhe in pain.I looked at the men staring at each other like raging bulls,while my cupcake stood frozen looking at David with an emotionless face.David was also looking at her with longing, wanting to take her away from these chaos.

"This wedding is cancelled.I apologize for the incovenience caused to you all from both De Luca and Knight family",Darian announced coming forward while dad looked like he will burn David alive.

"Siya...my Angel..." David called her with a voice bursting with so much love and affection.

"Who Siya?...You are mistaken ...Mr.Whoever you are .There is no Siya here",she sneered at him.

"Angel..I know you are angry with me,but you can't deny that you are my Siya",he pleaded with her.

"Siya is dead" ,She said  looking at him coldly before walking out of the church hastily.

So how was the chapter?

I know it was a bit boring but i will make it more exciting in the coming chapters.
