"Father, father!"
A small flowery voice called out for me from the depth of the forest. Her footsteps echoed through the walls and soon a flicker of lights popped up.
"Look! I shot down a bird for dinner " Despite her loose tooth, the child smiled brightly. Ear to ear. The bird swung in her hand, and an arrow crossed its body.
"Oho!"
My hand that ruffles her ebony hair seemed too big. I even thought it was probably the size of her head.
"Don't do that!" She pouted, mouth like a bird beak and violet eyes flickered with annoyance. Then hastily swipe away my arm, she stomped hard on the ground as if each one of her stomps could shake the earth.
"Hurry up!" Lilith shouted from the door, both hands at her tiny waists.
