“Thank you officers,” Ken Jnr said, while handshaking them. He couldn't get past how Delphina managed to arrange everything in a short time. He went to Bernadette and Dylan next.
“Hey Benny,” he said, tapping her on the back.
“JK, I'm so sorry for everything, I never meant to hurt Frances. Just that I and Dylan fell helplessly in love with each other, and I just didn't know how to tell her. Believe me I...” She kept on ranting, untill Ken Jnr cut her off.
“It’s okay, she's moved on. She was only mad you never told her about it.” Ken Jnr said.
Bernadette wrapped her arms around Ken Jnr, muttering words of appreciation to him. She finally felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders.
