How an unknown Lycan suddenly was in Dimitri’s body I had no explanation for. All I knew was that there was something standing in front of me and although it looked like Dimitri, talked like Dimitri, and hell it even smelled like Dimitri, it wasn’t him…
But like Dimitri or whoever this guy was, he didn’t have an air of malice or evil intent about him. He just seemed surprised to see me and then pleased.
And then amused…
Not that I didn’t see anything funny in the situation, but for now, he kept the benefit of the doubt. But I did also realize that if this guy wanted to hurt us, there was nothing on earth I could do to stop him! Power surrounded him like a second skin and if he didn’t suppress it the way he did, I’m pretty sure I’d be flat on the floor.
