Gemma’s phone rings and she sees the station’s number, making her answer it quickly.
“I have a trace! The woman that’s been kidnapped, she has a tracking app on her phone.”
They haven’t had a chance to speak to this woman’s boss yet, but as she is the one who called in the missing person, she apparently also let them know that all her girls have special tracking apps on their phones in cases like this.
Gemma frowns, thinking that it’s probably not the only reason she put the tracker on their phones, but Witch tracked it, nonetheless, and sends them the location.
Tank informs the crime scene investigators and photographers to be on standby for their call should they find anything, and a couple of uniform officers follow them to where the phone was last pinged.
