Over the next couple of weeks, Gemma spends more time with her therapist and less time at the courthouse. She leaves proving Alexander’s guilt to the state’s attorney, and although it’s tough to grow used to in the beginning, she spends more time getting to know Tank and working on their relationship.
Like the morning he takes her on a picnic in the park and puts his head in her lap and just reads to her.
“Dude, really? Do you find this relaxing?” She bursts out laughing as she pulls her fingers through his now-growing hair. They’ve taken some time off after everything… Or at least they’ve been told to take time off!
