It's been two days since Emma didn't get to see Jane which made her devastated ....she reported to the cops about Jane going missing but they still couldn't find her.......she could only reassure Jane younger brother that Jane was fine and would be back in few weeks

She could only pray that Jane was fine wherever she was

........🤗🤗......

Jane eyelash fluttered open, the first thing she came in contact with was the pure white celling......the scent of disinfectant made her realize that she was in the hospital........she was sure she was saved and that bastard didn't do anything to her...... that alone was enough to make her feel relieved......and it was all thanks to the man who saved her...... wait.....she does not even know him....... probably she will see him around....

Jane gently sat up......in no time a nurse came in with an IV fluid, the one she was using earlier must have finished and she plan to replace it that's why she came..... Jane thought......

"You're awake" The nurse said and smiled.....they all thought something was wrong somewhere while the surgery went on because it took long for her to wake up.......she slept for 72 hrs.......

"ye...s" Jane voice was hoarse due to lack of drinking water for such a long time......the nurse noticed her discomfort and hurriedly dropped the tray containing the IV fluid so as to attend to Jane

The kind nurse hurriedly poured some water from the glass jug into a cup before placing it directly on Jane palm

Jane was grateful to the nurse ....she gulped the water down her dry throat..........in no time the cup was empty......even though she felt the water had a bitter taste she cared less......her thirst was yet to be quenched so she placed the empty cup down requesting for more

The nurse understood and poured another cup of water for Jane

Jane drank till she was satisfied.....she gained little energy ......

"You've been asleep for two straight days..i will get some porridge from the cafeteria and have it delivered to you but Let me call the doctor to come run some test to be sure you're okay" The nurse said after replacing the IV drip

Jane pupil bulged......Two straight days.....that was insane.........she gently closed her eye....... she was indeed grateful to the man who saved her.....she would thank him properly immediately she sets her eye on him......she can't wait to see him

Ethan came in after receiving the report from the nurse that Jane was awake.......

Her face was still pale........her black wavy hair was let down........she looked so breathtaking.........as her face were raised up with eye closed and chin up.......

"Good morning doctor" Jane greeted after noticing that the doctor walked in

Ethan snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the hoarse and tiny voice of the lady.........

"Morning miss ....how are you feeling now"Ethan replied as he inched closer

"Just weak"Jane replied......the man must be the one who operated on.....her

After running few test and checking on her....... he was glad that there was no issue

"I'm doctor Ethan" Ethan introduced with a smile

"Nice meeting you doctor...... I'm Jane by name........i Believe you're the one who operated on" Jane replied with a smile

Ethan smiled in return.....her smile was so gentle and contagious that he didn't realize when he also smiled with her

"Dr.Ethan can i know what happened while I was unconscious........ I'm actually curious..............and I don't see..... the man that brought me........i would like to thank him properly....."Jane said

Ethan face grew gloomy..........She was asking for Ford........

"He did a lot for you...........he donated blood to you, despite being hurt......."Ethan explained the whole situation to Jane and she was stunned that the man did so much for her.....they didn't even know each other.....yet he did that despite knowing that his blood type was rare to see

"I have to see him right now"Jane said as she flipped the quilt off her body.....ready to go out and thank him.......

Jane had yet to take two step when she felt dizzy......she was about to fall back when........she was caught by the doctor

"you're still weak go back to the bed"Ethan said as he caught her just as she was about to fall.....he was expecting the fall.....how can she walk properly after being in coma for two days

"He left"Ethan said

"He left"........how would she thank him......maybe if she sees him .........yes she will see him if it's not today she will end up meeting him....jane smiled at her thought

But hold on...... she does not even have any idea about how he looks.......Shit!!........she didn't get to look up the entire time......she made a mistake she should have attempted to look at him........

Seeing her silent Ethan sighed......

"Do you have his contact....... somewhere I can reach him.....I just want to thank him..... that's all ..." Jane said with shaky voice.....someone did that much for her......if she didn't thank him she will feel guilt forever

"I don't know him.....am sorry I can't be of help......"Ethan replied...... it's good she didn't know Ford......the old man must not know she was the one that made his grandson that way ............

Jane heart ached.......she regretted not having to see him the other day......that was the biggest mistake she made.......she must find a way to look for him one way or the other unless she will feel indebted to him forever

"I shall take my leave now" Ethan said before leaving

Just as Ethan left, the nurse came in bringing the tray of porridge and supplement that the patient had to take

Jane could barely eat.....the thought of not seeing the man who saved her made her feel down ...she was forced by the nurse countless time before she could finish the bowl of porridge ...jane decided to step out to as per the doctor instructions

She was grateful to the man if not that bastard would have had his way with her forcefully......the thought alone made her feel so irritated....she can't wait to tell Emma her best fri.......

Hold on.....where the hell was Emma......she recollect leaving her at the club before that unforseen incident rook place

She reached for her pocket in the hospital gown that was on her but she found it empty.......Fuck!! her phone was in her pant pocket, she must have left it there while that bastard was undressing her.......she should return home immediately....she didn't even know if Emma was fine........she really regretted going to the club.....

Jane went to the front desk......she wants to be discharged immediately...

"I want to be discharged now" Jane said startling the nurse whose eye was firmly fixed to the desktop

"Miss get back to your ward" The nurse replied as she glared at the lady who she didn't think was fine

"I have something important to attend to at home........i really cannot waste anymore minutes here" Jane said felling nervou ......she had slept for too long........she only prayed that Emma was doing fine wherever she was

"Miss if you're not careful I will have the security guard throw you back to your ward"The nurse said trying too scare the lady away

"I'm not staying for too long......I will be back before you know it ......I just want to check if Emma is fine...."Jane said trying to appease the nurse who only gave her a cold expression

The nurse who attended to Jane earlier happened to pass by and heard the commotion between Jane and a nurse

"What's happening" The nurse questioned as she tried to calm Jane who was at the verge of crying

"Nurse.. I'm really worried about my friend.....all i want to do is check up on her and I will be back to the hospital in no time" Jane explained carefully hoping she will understand her better than the other nurse

"I will have the doctor confirm if you're fine and allow him sign to your discharge paper" The nurse replied calmly.....she had receive the report from the doctor and it shows that there was no other complications...... although her staying will be a good choice but she wants to leave then so be it

"Thank you so much nurse" Jane beamed happily......."Emma please be safe" Jane muttered silently under her breath

"In no time......the nurse came back and told her that she can be discharged that the doctor agreed

Jane wasted no time and signed some important discharge documents........but wait why were they not asking her to pay yet.......maybe they were waiting for her to bring it up so as not to look rude

"Nurse can I pay in installment....... I'm not....... financially stable now but i will make sure to pay up"Jane said quietly to the nurse....she just can't imagine the amount she was going to pay........she had surgery and was in the hospital for good two days........she didn't even want to see how much she was going to pay .....

"What do you mean by installment........ someone paid for you already............" The nurse replied making Jane gaze at the nurse in confusion....what did she mean that someone already paid......was she daydreaming

"When exactly did the person pay........cause am confused right now" she does not have any wealthy relative that might come help her pay up for the surgery.....she was all alone

"The first day you were brought here" The nurse answered starring at the computer to be sure it was the first day the patient was brought in that the payment was made

First day.....what was going on......who could have paid the bill.......her mind couldn't figure out anyone who would know about that incident and pay up that day.....surgery was not a small amount of money to pay just in a blink of eye

It couldn't be him right!!......no.......oh my...it must have been the man that saved her.......... he was the only one that could pay such amount.........he was wealthy anyone could tell just by the tons of bodyguard that dashed in looking worried the other day

Lord.......my only wish is to meet this man.....she would give her life to him if needed... he had done to much for her.......too much that it made her heart ache knowing that she didn't know him

"All procedure is done now......you are discharged"The nurse said bringing Jane back to reality

Hearing she was discharged.......Jane didn't waste anymore time and dashed outside to look for a cab....she hurriedly hailed a cab that was coming in her direction.....just as she was about to enter she realised she didn't have any money with her.......this was crazy

"Lady are you entering or not"The cab driver asked as he glared at the lady who looked lost.....

"I'll pass"Jane said before closing the door......she didn't want to be embarrassed......the only thing she can do is to find her way to the small apartment where she and Emma was staying.....she didn't know how long it will take her to arrive...

Jane watched as the cab drove off till she couldn't see it traces......she wished she had few notes with her she wouldn't have had to trek............looks like she had no option.....just as she was about to start her journey to her apartment......the honking sound of a horn blared loudly startling her........she looked back and found a car inching close to her direction.......she wondered who it was......on closer inspection it was the doctor........ what was his name again.......oh.....Ethan

"Get in" Ethan said after pulling over just in front of Jane...........he had allow her get discharge earlier........he was about going home for the day when he saw a lady in a hospital gown which looked like Jane

Jane didn't waste any time and got in.....the doctor was really a life saver.....she had been in deep thoughts about how she was going to get to her apartment

"Thank you so much doctor"Jane said after watching him drive off

"Just call me Ethan" Ethan replied making Jane nod her head in respond

She hurriedly gave him the location to her apartment.....after making several turns the car pulled over

"I'm grateful doc....sorry Eth......an.....I will take my leave now" Jane said getting out of the car in an hurry.....

Ethan didn't even get to tell her bye when she slammed the door and ran away..... he smiled and drove off

Jane got to her apartment......she silently prayed that Emma will be at home.....she couldn't bear the thought of not seeing Emma for the rest of her life

She didn't have her keys with her as she left her bag at the club the other day with Emma

Jane closed her eye shut and gently twisted the knob of the door...... hoping for a miracle ........that the door would open.....and to her greatest surprise......the door opened......she snapped open her eye and immediately dashed in......

Emma who was preparing food for herself heard the door open and became alert........she hurriedly wiped her hand clean as she made her way to the door

"Emma.....Emma...are you there" Jane asked no one in particular.....the scent of porridge filled the air...... could it be Emma cooking

"On hearing Jane voice......Emma thought she was hallucinating......it couldn't be......"

"Jane...."Emma cried out on seeing Jane who was about to collide with her

"Oh my......Emma... you're alive" Jane replied as she hugged Emma tightly.....no one knows how glad she was to see Emma again

"I thought I was never going to see you again" Emma said as she sniffed her nose......it didn't look like she was letting Jane go anytime soon

"why the hell are you in a hospital gown....... don't tell me something happened.......... that day" Emma asked curiously after just scanning Jane since she entered .......she saw fading fingerprint on her neck which were less visible it made her frightened....
