Sophia thought Candice was acting a bit odd.
But she didn’t pry.
"Then let’s head out early tomorrow. We might not even find that girl."
Suddenly, a thought struck her. "Say, if we could get Mia to show us the way, maybe we could catch her red-handed and end this once and for all."
Candice laughed. "That’s a big if, Miss Clarke."
Sophia retorted, "You get to be dramatic, but I can’t?"
She hooked an arm around Candice’s neck and excitedly shared her plan. “Tell me—isn’t it totally doable?”
Candice gave it some thought. “Now that you put it like that, it might just work.”
