Elizabeth noted in the days after Sawyer’s discussion with Elle that she wasn’t spending so much time with Cordelia anymore. She wasn’t working in the library anymore, but the family history book was gone so it could have been that her absence was simply a courtesy, so they didn’t have to see her work.
