Elizabeth tried her hardest to hide how fragile she was feeling as she walked down to the room Francesca had asked them to meet in. She walked with purpose, remembering what Sawyer had said about needing to show people she believed in herself.
She didn’t believe in herself or her idea anymore. But she could see that Sawyer was conflicted and upset by the fact she wanted to move away, and she felt that she owed it to him to go to this one class and make a final effort before asking him to move away with her.
