Elizabeth finally crashed, despite the strong coffee, and Sawyer left her alone to rest. He had another idea to try and help her, but he had not wanted to vocalize it. It wasn’t because he was hiding it from her; he just knew she would insist she didn’t want to be any trouble if he suggested it. He smiled as he looked at her. She looked peaceful curled up in their huge bed, despite the fact she had been up all night and was clearly still battling her own personal demons. He stroked her cheek, because he did not feel like denying himself that small pleasure even if it risked waking her. She moved a little closer to him, and it made it almost impossible to tear himself away, but he felt comfortable leaving her there alone for the first time in a while and he needed to take advantage of that
