“Welcome to your new home,” Francesca pushed open one of the huge front doors to the house. She had deliberately chosen to enter the house that way rather than going through the garage, and the look on Selene’s face was worth it.
She didn’t speak; she was still not feeling very talkative. But her eyes were taking in the sight of everything and she was clearly impressed. When she looked to the top of the staircase she saw that Sawyer and Elizabeth had come to greet them and for some reason it sent her further inside herself. She stared at the floor and hoped they wouldn’t make this a big deal.
