She’s in love with me!
Rolling over, I cupped her face in my hands. “I’m in love with you, too.” I felt like I’d been waiting to say it for so long that I couldn’t wait a second longer.
Her chest rose as she took a sharp breath. “God, I’m glad to hear you say that.”
I moved in closer as she lay on the sand. “Does this mean I can finally have that kiss I’ve been craving?”
But her hands moved up to grip my wrists. “Pitt, you know what that means for me, right?”
“That I’m the one man for you.” I nodded as I gazed into her eyes. Eyes that I could imagine myself gazing into forever. “And you’re the one woman for me.”
“You won’t leave me when your vacation is over?” she asked with wide eyes.
