"Tell me, Elena. Has he told you yet what happened the last time an Ashford loved a human? Has he told you what it cost?" She asked her, still pulling her hair up.
Elena looked at me and I bit my teeth together, tightening my jaw.
“This is between me and you Sable, don't bring her into this, ever.” I shouted, I wanted to go there and hold Elena in my arms but Sable’s men were all there.
I was confused for a while, had the power started awakening in Elena making her forget Sable’s face? What was going on? Elena didn't budge but she kept looking at me like this was my fault and that broke my heart enough.
