Kane’s POV:
Elena didn't say anything again after she read the message, she just looked at me, she looked like her head was spinning.
She had just read her mother's other letter so I wanted to believe that it had something to do with it when she raised her phone in my face.
I read that message three times before I could make myself believe it.
“She didn't betray anyone. That story was never true.” The person has said. I was confused, I just hoped that wasn't true, that the thought in my head was a lie.
