Chapter One: New BeginningsWhen Sally tells her parents that she plans to move out, she has a screaming match with her parents about responsibilities and how she's running away from them and she isn't allowed to do it because she's oldest and she's supposed to take care of her younger siblings, never mind that are old enough to know better and steal every cent she's ever made by going into her room whenever she isn't there.
She packs her bag and screams obscenities on her way out, intending to never return.
"Yeah, right," her younger brother snorts from where he's perched at the edge of the couch, playing his online game instead of finding a job like he should be doing. The two youngest siblings are no better, screaming at each other about some sort of game they're playing.
She flushes
