EVE'S POV
After my parents' funeral was over, I went to collect important belongings from the house for the last time. The house is now taken over by a bank where my parents had mortgaged it. I gave the housekeepers some money to help them start over. It might not be much, but I did my best because I also have to save money for my future and the baby I'm expecting.
The baby's father has probably already gone abroad to continue his studies with his fiancée. As for me, I can only do my best to raise the child. I decided not to tell Darren about the pregnancy because I don't see the point in him knowing. In the end, Darren would still choose Leah. He wouldn't leave Leah to take responsibility for me and the child.
