I have been in the UK for almost two weeks now. Leah and I have somewhat adapted to the weather and life here. Since I arrived, I've been trying to contact Eve, but I haven't been able to reach her. I even asked my friends to try, but it was to no avail.
Darren: Hey, has anyone heard from Eve?
Kent: No news from Eve at all. Her condo is up for sale now.
Chin: Eve has cut off all contact. We can't reach her at all.
Pat: On the Darren of your engagement, Eve's parents committed suicide.
Darren: Are you serious?
Kent: Yeah, really.

Pat: It's true. I just heard about it too. Their business probably failed, and they went into debt, got sued for bankruptcy, and all their assets were seized.
