DARREN'S POV
I arrived at the condo a little after 10 PM, just as Eve returned. I saw a man driving her back. His face looked familiar. I remembered that he was the baby-faced guy who took a picture with Eve. I recognized him. The baby-faced guy stood talking with Eve for a while before driving off, and then Eve walked into the condo and headed for the elevator.
I followed Eve without her noticing. When the elevator opened, Eve walked in, and I quickly slipped in behind her, causing her to look surprised to see me.
“Darren, when did you get here?”
“Since you got out of that baby-faced guy's car.”
“His name is Nathan. Show some respect when you call him.”
“I don't care what his name is. I only know you have no business hanging out with him.”
