EVE'S POV
Today, I went to class as usual after celebrating a birthday last night. I got back to the condo almost at 3 AM and then had to argue with Darren. I didn't get to sleep until 4 AM, and then I had to wake up for class again.
He came into the room last. I pretended not to care about him, didn't look at him, didn't smile at him, and I decided not to talk to him. Think I can't do it? Just watch me.
And I managed to do it for the first half of the morning class. Before noon, I received a message, and I quickly opened it because it was from Nathan.
Nathan: Have you finished your class yet?
Eve: Almost done.
Nathan: Do you have classes in the afternoon?
Eve: I have two more subjects.
Nathan: Can you join me for lunch? I'm running errands near your university.
Eve: Sure.
