This morning I woke up feeling a little bit better than yesterday. I didn’t want to admit it, but I knew my date with Luke had a lot to do with it. When he kissed me… I felt a rush of electricity course through my body. Small tingles spread everywhere our skin touched. More than that, I could feel a warmth spreading inside of me. It touched every piece of me that was hurt and needed healing.
As I snuggle deeper into his bed, I find myself wishing he was here, next to me. Since it’s too soon for that, I will have to settle for seeing him at breakfast. How did he manage to worm his way into my thoughts so easily? This mate bond hoodoo is no joke. Just the other day I wanted to strangle his bossy neck.
