Wednesday came all too quickly for my liking, and now I’m sitting on the hard bench of the courtroom, waiting for my hearing against Tessa to begin. My lawyer is here handling another case while we await Tessa's arrival. I’m starting to think this was a ploy to waste my time. As the judge calls our case number, Tessa walks in a light pink skirt suit. She dyed her hair blonde and seemed to be trying to look less desperate. For every argument, she had to get alimony; my lawyer countered with a logical reason. After an hour of going back and forth, the judge stopped the hearing and ruled in my favor, as my lawyer predicted he would. He even added a clause preventing her from filing for this game again.
