Chapter Five Newbury Magistrates Court It was ten minutes before the parade was due to commence and Don was already at the station, ready for work. He quickly made his way to the inspectors office where Inspector Lewis was reading the morning newspaper. The paper was a regular “freebie”, a little perk of the job that one of his staff had brought in for him from the railway station earlier that morning when the mail train arrived.
