“I believe she said she had to go," Loki growled in Ash's face. Ash gasped and sputtered. His face was turning red, lips blue. He couldn't breathe. “What are you doing!?" I cried. I grabbed Loki's arm and tried to pull him away from Ash. Loki snarled, flicking his raging eyes at me. He snorted but eased up his grip on Ash's throat. Ash coughed and heaved. I could already see his skin bruising from Loki's choke-hold. He pushed Loki away, rubbing his throat as he sat up on the broken bar. “You three better get out of here. I'm calling the cops!" the bartender cried, phone in hand. “We better get out of here," I muttered. I grabbed Ash's sleeve and pulled him along. He kept coughing and gasping like he couldn't get enough air through his bruised throat. I kept my eyes down, unab
