FRIDAY 10PM – UZMA RAFIQPhew! We're here. It's a bit of a scramble to get off the plane, so I wait patiently in my seat until the aisle has cleared. The child next to me is pulled out of her seat by the impatient mother and leaves a trail of melted chocolate on the seat behind her. I check that none of it has got onto my jacket. I only have to carry my handbag and watch the other passengers for a few minutes as they struggle with carry-on luggage and heavy coats. It's incredible how much people take on a short flight, but I suppose it's to save the hassle of having to retrieve a suitcase, like I will have to do.
