I saw the same shock and anger reflected in Kris's eyes.
We rushed over, finding a crowd already gathered on the outdoor lawn. Romon's arm was bent at an unnatural angle, and Stella sat collapsed on the ground, unable to stand, crying uncontrollably in Max's arms.
"It's just a broken arm. I'll be fine after some rest," Romon said, his forehead beaded with sweat from the pain, yet maintaining a casual demeanor. "You're not hurt, so stop crying."
Stella turned her head sharply. "I twisted my ankle!"
