“What?” His forehead vein throbbed in anger. “Didn’t that two-faced sister of yours try to harm them just days ago? What if they try again?”
“They won't be able to,” I pointed out. “Besides, the person I'm wary of is Renée, and she's not meeting them,” I explained. “They are only obliged to meet with Jarett.”
The final verdict that the judge gave was simple.
The children are to meet, under protection, with their father twice a week, every week.
It was highly likely that the court gives Jarett some sort of leverage over them, so I expected something like this to happen.
