I stepped into the large court room, my twins at both sides of my arms.
Almost immediately, murmurs rose as we entered. People scooted over, discussing amongst themselves.
Jarett and his family were already seated waiting. His eyes darted towards us the moment we entered, and he stared at the children. I could also see my parents, but I avoided eye contact, focusing instead on ensuring that Rave and Gideon were comfortably seated at a corner, guarded protectively by one of my bodyguards.
