Bree’s P.O.V.
I swallowed, watching Luke leave the room. And feeling as if he was taking my heart with him as he left, feeling how my heart ached for him and bled, the more distance he placed between us. I sighed, looking back at Alpha Ash, who seemed to be in deep thoughts of his own, before he looked back up at me.
“Are you sure that this is what you want, Bree? Because honestly, it doesn't sit well with me.” He told me, to which I shrugged.
“I honestly don’t know anything anymore, Alpha.” I shook my head, wrapping my arms in front of my chest. I felt as if I needed to hold myself right now, Luke’s arms had been there just a few seconds ago, and now I felt cold, fragile and mostly all alone again.
