My paws kept smashing into the thick dirt. It had rained yesterday, which made the earth squishy and wet, but I didn’t mind. These whole woods could be up in flames, and I still would be running here, my eyes focused on just one point, that bright star which slowly came closer and closer, bringing me to where I needed to be. Out of nowhere, one of the three new wolves jumped in front of me, blocking me from moving forward. My wolf Kiran growled hard, leaning down to jump at the wolf’s throat, if he would not let me pass. Lana was close by, I felt it in my bones, and I needed to get to her, I needed to see her, make sure that she was doing ok. f**k… I needed to save her!
