Feast Day of Saint Ouen and Saint BartholomewThey reached Paris in the last week of August, on the feast of both Saint Bartholomew the apostle and Saint Ouen, Bishop of Rouen. Despite the pouring rain and the resulting mud, the city was thick with revelers. The progress of their party was slow indeed. Ysmaine found that the weather affected her mood more than the celebrants thronging to church.
