Leslie started hyperventilating, The feeling that it was all over overwhelmed, she thought it was a fresh start. Angrily She Slammed the door.. The next few weeks were super intense. Leslie chose to save her marriage after much thought on it. She arranged to meet Caitilin at the park. “I just want you to know that I hold none of this against you. All I just want to do is fight for me and Trevor and make things work between me and him”. Leslie said. Simultaneously their eyes became filled with tears. “I am so sorry and I promise you, I didn't plan for any of this to happen” Caitilin responded. “I know, I know—”. Caitilin interrupted Leslie with a tight hug and they both burst into tears. Trevor did all he could to be perfect during the course of this. Douglas’ Influence made his business experience a lot better. Trevor had over 20x the number of client's he had before getting married to Leslie. He became more intentional in their marriage and made sure to constantly gift her occasionally. In as much as he went this far to prove himself he knew deep down that he wasn't actually in love with her and his initial ulterior motive was still his motivation. Leslie and Caitilin got along. They went grocery shopping together, went for work outs together and did things together. At some point Leslie requested Caitlin move in with them which she did. The three of them were on the same page about everything. Caitilin will give birth and Trevor will cover a large percentage of the cost of upbringing for the unborn child while the child will stay with Caitilin and they will be visiting from time to time. From movie nights to game nights to beautiful conversations. Everything was calm. Few months later, Caitilin gave birth to a handsome boy and he was named Jenkins. Leslie asked her not to leave immediately but to spend a little time with them. Caitilin happily agreed to this. On an early Thursday morning, when the sun was barely out, Trevor sat at the veranda absorbing the sweet morning breeze. He had given himself a little break from work activities. Leslie had already gone to work. After some hours outside the sun rays started getting a little intense so Trevor decided to get back to his room. Heading there he noticed Caitlin's room door was slightly open and he pushed it gently considering the fact that Jenkins may be asleep. Just as he stepped in he caught one of the most beautiful views ever— Naked Caitilin. She backed the entrance of the door as she robbed lotion on her hands and legs. She had no idea he was there. Trevor just stood there staring as his mind conceived the wildest thoughts. After a few seconds, he regained himself and tip-toed out. Days went by and he couldn't get the image out of his head. The worst was that the entire image reminded him of times they shared together before Leslie found out. Few days later, Trevor walked into the kitchen and saw Caitilin fixing a meal. Leslie was at work. He decided to let it out— “You know I haven't stopped thinking of us ever since.” Trevor said. “No, no, no, I am not doing this—”. Caitilin said as she dropped all she was doing and motioned to leave the kitchen, but Trevor held her hands— “Where are you going?” Trevor asked. “I am packing my stuff and leaving here”. Caitilin responded. “Why?... did I say something wrong?”. Trevor asked. “Yes Trevor! Everything you say, everything you do is wrong!” She shouted. “First of all you lied to me and lured me into falling in love with you, making me cause the pain that my therapy sessions are supposed to heal people from. Then the minute your wife forgives us and wants to put everything behind, you want to crawl back into my life. How do you think I feel everyday knowing I was a tool in the pain that made your wife seek counseling?” She added. “No, that’s not it at all. You were not a tool to get Leslie hurt. You are the peace I have found in the midst of this chaotic marriage. You are the one that made me feel at peace when I felt so low. The only reason I kept my marriage away from you then Is because I was scared of you leaving me if you found out. I really want to make us work.” Trevor replied. “I am not going to do this, I am not going to hurt Leslie, that has been nothing but nice to me”. Caitilin replied and motioned to leave but Trevor held her again. “Tell me that since everything happened, the thought of us being together hasn't crossed your mind?”. Trevor asked. Caitilin became dumbfounded. “Tell me you haven't missed a second of what we shared?”. He added, then drew close to her then he kissed her. A 20 second kiss turned into an intense s*x experience. Caitilin and Trevor were back to square one. Because Leslie consistently spent a good part of the day at work, they had enough time to do anything they wanted to do anywhere. Leslie decided to order dinner on a cold evening when she came back early. The three of them sat at the dining table and talked as they ate delicious Chinese food. “The technician will be coming in the morning to service the cameras”. Leslie said. “What cameras?” Trevor asked as he paused his food. “Oh—” Leslie double tapped her forehead like she forgot to make mention of it before now. “The new flower vase in the kitchen cupboards, room wardrobes, and balcony actually have cameras installed in them. I saw them online and decided to try them out for security reasons and they have been super amazing. So sorry I didn't run it by you”. Leslie added. Caitilin and Trevor shared an uncomfortable glance at each other. Trevor cleared his throat— “Have you been able to review the video clips since then?”. Trevor asked. “Yeah, I put them on 20x speed and review them everyday”. Leslie responded. Leslie looked at their faces and saw the terror and anxiety. She chuckled— “You both think I don't know what has been happening?” Caitilin's eyes get filled with tears immediately. She tries to speak but Leslie shuts her immediately. Trevor stands angrily— “You know what?, enough of you playing the Saint. You know I am fed up with this marriage, you know I have tried all I could to make it work but every time I tried it shattered. I did my best and you know that”. Trevor exclaimed. Now, Leslie stands and faces Trevor Eye to eye, not furious as he is, but bolder than ever. “You know what I am most thankful for?. The fact that I didn't listen to my guts to discard the divorce papers. This time around, I am not listening to your plea, I am done with all your garbage. You are signing those papers and you will do it immediately.” Leslie said calmly and walked out. Leslie spent the entire night at the bar crying and drinking. Over the next few weeks, Caitilin and Trevor settled in a different apartment with Jenkins. Trevor agreed to sign the divorce papers. It was a win-win for him because he had already settled his steel firm properly due to Donald's influence. Few weeks later Trevor had just driven in from work when he started hearing loud and heated conversations from inside, he went in hurriedly and saw Caitilin arguing with a guy named Jack, huge and fully bearded with pumped biceps and thighs. “What's going on here?” Trevor asked. “Maybe you should ask this b***h that has refused me from having my child even after showing her the DNA test results.” Jake responded, flinged the DNA result slip on Trevor and stormed out angrily. Trevor couldn't believe his ears. He sat on the couch and went through the slip— “Tell me the guy that left now wasn't talking about my Jenkins”. Trevor asked calmly. “I, I—I” Caitilin stammered as she struggled to form a word. I said tell me the freaking guy that left here wasn't talking about my boy”. Trevor said with a loud voice that shook the foundations of the house. Caitilin burst into tears and sat next to him. Trevor covered his head with his hands and exclaimed in disappointment.
