Our Kids

“If he wants it that way, then he's asking for war and I'm going to give him,” Killorn growled, signing a paper and handing it to the man sitting before him before resting back on his chair. “We're going to lose lots of people if we choose war with the Blue Moon pack, Alpha. I'm not saying that we should give them what they want but as your beta I suggest we take a different approach.” “What other approach is there? This is my final decision and I'm not going back on my words. If we don't do this, our pack is going to be labeled ‘weak’ get it?” “Up to you, though. I'm just thinking of the lives that’s going to be lost.” “Enough of this topic, Gaspher. Leave my office when you're done,” Killorn ordered. Just then, there was a knock and Killorn’s secretary walked in. “Sir, Miss Eleanor is here.” Before Killorn could say anything, a tall extravagantly dressed lady barged into the room. Her purple hair was left flowing in shoulder and back and her lips were painted in a dark shade of red. If anyone sees hee now, they would surely think that she was sexy. But it couldn't be so for the Alpha who glared at the lady for barging into his office without his permission. His eyes scanned her dressing in disgust before moving his gaze back to her overly painted face. If anyone should ask him, he would say that she looks like those dolls hung in toy shops. “Mr Secretary. Don't forget your place. You don't always have to inform him of my arrival,” Eleanor snarled at the secretary. “Now get out.” The man quickly ran off for his life. He was a mere omega whom the boss had taken a liken to and made as his secretary. He was nowhere on par with the lady. “Now, I think I already warned you not to barge into my space without permission. Do you have a death wish?” “Come on, Alpha. I'm going to be your mate soon. It's not wrong if I do this often is it?” “I'll leave you two,” Gaspher stood up from the chair. “Please do.” After he left, she took slow steps to Killorn’s side and sat on the side of the table just next to him. “I've missed you, Alpha. The pack members suggest that we do our mating ceremony soon. It's high time, isn't it? Besides, we need to start having heirs,” suggested Eleanor. “You can start if you want. I'm not holding you.” “We can.” “I never mentioned we. I said ‘you.’“ “My parents want you home for dinner. Will you come? We can have a decent time together after that,” she bit her lips seductively as her hand traced his thick jaw to his chest. Before her hand could get to his chest, Killorn held her hand tightly and twisted it. “Ahh..ahh, Alpha.” He left her hands immediately. “Don't touch me again.” He has warned her several times but she never listened. Eleanor retracted her hands and rubbed her wrist. What was wrong with the Alpha? He never lets her touch him nor does he touch her at all. Several times that she has tried to seduce him, it always ended up futile with the Alpha either pushing her away or throwing her out of his sight. “Say what you want and leave. I have no time to accommodate you, Eleanor.” “I want nothing. I just came to see you.” “You've seen me now, you can leave.” He has no time to entertain brats like her today. The traces of her touch made him angry. Not just her touch but any other woman’s. Ever since that woman, he has never been able to be intimate with other women without feeling disgusted and not aroused. “Don’t be like this, honey. Will you come to my parent’s for dinner,” deciding to try her luck a second time, Eleanor sat on his thighs and wrapped her hands around his neck. Just then, someone knocked on the door of the room and the secretary came in. “So..sorry for interrupting. There's a lady who seeks to see you, sir. She says it's urgent and her name is Xenia.” Killorn stiffened at the name. Eleanor rolled her eyes. “Didn't you tell her that he was busy?” “I did. She says it's urgent.” “Call her in,” he ordered and the secretary quickly left. “Leave.” “What?” “I said leave. I might come for dinner. Now, leave.” His authoritative order was what she couldn't disobey. He was the Alpha after all. She immediately stood up from his thighs and picked her Louis Vultion high grade bag. Her heels clicking and her hips swerving as she walked towards the door the same time it pushed open and a woman stepped in. Although she was well dressed, she was looking as disheveled as ever. Her hair hung loosely around her hair. They passed each other and Eleanor side-glared at the woman before walking away from the office. …… Xenia strode into the office at a fast pace. It was almost evening and her children were still missing. “You… what the hell?” Killorn asked as she walked closer to him. Her disheveled state shocked him and the sight of her that way made him discover that she was in a really big mess. “I’m…I’m sorry for coming uninvited. I really need your help,” she announced, bending to place her hands on her knees and giving a deep breath. She had run all the way outside the airport and took a cab before running into this huge building. Like she just said, she needed help from him and would do anything to get it. “What help? I don’t give help to strangers.” “I know we have differences and I’m sorry but please, they… they’re in danger. Please help me.” “Who is in danger?” Killorn frowned at her words. “Our…our kids.”
