Chapter XXIII Destiny   KAISER’S heart hammered inside his chest. He could no longer make out of what his teacher was discussing in front nor could he care more about his surroundings. He was, just like the usual, sitting still on his designated seat, his face emotionless and unreadable, but, uncharacteristically, his thoughts were in chaos. His mind was bombarded with questions and what-ifs, of possibilities and imagined scenarios. His heart was shaking, beating fear and nervousness. And he knew it was no good at all.              His eyes bore on the empty seat in front of him.
