The glass was stained with fog and vapors while Armaan was having a shower as water droplets trickled down his body sensually moving along his ripped muscles and sliding down his abs, looking like a calm and refreshing scenery in itself, however Armaan himself was a turmoil inside with all his thoughts all over his mind, he let out a sigh as he ran his hand through his slick black hairs.
'Finally, the day has come. I can't believe it in just a few hours. It is my engagement with my first love, Sakshi...this is a feeling I have never felt before but only heard through other people. Is this what you call being on nine clouds or over the very top? If it is, then yes I am going through the very same sensation and it feels amazing yet thrilling.
I am feeling a lot of emotions at the same which I only studied about and never thought would feel like this or have such a moment in my life. The feeling itself makes my heart race. I am kind of nervous as well. I am dying from inside contemplating how she is going to look in the dress which my mother so talked about. I am literally at my limit imagining how she is going to look when she will enter inside or stand closer to me, how am I going to fight my urges or control myself near me.... it's already so hard for me to resist the sweet scent of her lurking around my nose every time I am closer to her and the intensified feelings which have grown so much over these past years are making me go crazy with obsession and possessiveness.'
Armaan couldn't help but grin ear to ear while dressing, or more like dolling himself up. The term, doesn't suit his well-chiseled body, but every man in love, becomes as helpless and innocent, like a little child, and Armaan was being the same as, he was paying extra attention, towards his every little detail, be it his hair or his well-ironed wedding suit with a feeling to look no less than his bride but he soon broke into a charming smile as he thought, no matter what he wear, Sakshi is going to dim everyone with her radiance and glamor which he will be more than delighted to bask in, again the thought of seeing her accompanied his mind as his heart started palpitating again with curiosity and excitement.
Armaan was feeling very lighthearted and his heart was filled with warm and fuzzy feelings and as expected, he has already planned everything, be it their honeymoon, wedding, house, kids. He was just so happy that he couldn't wait to hug her, to feel her soft lips on his, to see her squirming with embarrassment or avoiding his gaze shyly, and what he loved the most was that sweet lovely red hue covering her face whenever she is shy or feeling coy about their relationship. It was all just so sweet and cute. He couldn't help but gaze at her lovingly and adoringly without blinking his eyes.
'I wonder what new expressions she is going to make today. I am all ready to tease her and enjoy her lovely reactions. Sakshi is more than all this. She is an independent and a confident woman, which makes her look sexy and unreachable, but that's what makes me fall in love with her. I want to keep her all to myself, I want to see her shine, only me and no one else. She is mine and, yes, that's what I am going to prove today to every guy out there. Even though her strong personality and confidence is something I adore and find the hardest to resist, I am head over heels for her cute and lovely side, where she is just like a child and it takes me back to the days when we were kids and used to be around each other all the time. I can't wait to be near her again. Now I just don't want her mere presence around me. I want more, I have become greedier as the days passed and what I want her is to love me, My Sakshi, I can't wait any longer.'
Armaan's steps paced as he went down the stairs and waited for his other family members to get ready.
Armaan
I am waiting impatiently for my family to get ready. Don't they know, today is my engagement and they are taking a hell of a lot of time getting ready? I have been waiting for them for almost an hour now.
''Dad, Mom, come fast guys, we are getting late,'' I shouted from the living room where I had been waiting.
''Neil, what's taking you so long?'' I yelled again. After what felt like an eternity, my brother decided to grace me with his presence.
''Finally, what took you so long?'' standing up from the sofa, I asked him.
''Bhai [brother], it's not our fault that you got ready an hour ago and we still have plenty of time.'' My dumbass brother said while throwing himself on the sofa leisurely. Like he got all the time in the world.
''What is taking mom and dad so long?'' I asked him.
''Relax Bhai [brother], it's not like the function will start without you. We get it you are excited about today, but aren't you overreacting a little?'' My restlessness is excitement and overreaction to him. He can't understand what I have been through to get here and what I am still going through. He can't understand how difficult it is to get her to accept me and to love me.
"We are here Armaan, baby calm down, see mother and father are ready" Meena chirped in her sweet voice, trying to pacify the angry Armaan, and scrunched her nose up, seeing his furrowed eyebrows.
"Mom do you know how long did you took to get ready when you damn well know it's my engagement today and dad you too!?" Armaan said trying to suppress his boiling anger.
"Armaan, I understand your desperation to see your cute and lovely bride, but if you are going to frown this much, you are going to look much older than your current age? Do you want Sakshi to marry an old man singing the song? 'Mai kya karu raam, mujhe budha mil gya' (Oh what should I do Lord Ram, I married an old man)
"M.O.M, this is no time for jokes nor to tease your son!" Armaan said in a voice laced with frustration.
"Aww, today's such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, won't you let your mother enjoy it baby" Meena pouted.
"M.O.M! Rajeev cut off Armaan in between by saying "Armaan, aren't we getting late now?"
"Yes, let's go" Armaan said as he snapped back to his la la land and soon broke into a smile while humming, which made all three of them exchange surprised glances at such a quick change in Armaan's behavior while his mother looked at him with knowing gaze.
"Mother stop boring holes in my back," Armaan said, to which Meena broke into a lovely giggle which made Armaan wear a childlike smile, while Neil and Rajeev too smiled adoringly at the scene as the family exited the house.
