Armaan
''Stay the f**k away from her.'' I snarled at Kabir. He f*****g didn't have any right to come here demanding answers from her. That is my right, only mine. I tolerated his bullshit till now only for the sake of our friendship, which has been hanging on a thin thread now. If he backs off, then the friendship remains and if he doesn't, then only God can save him from me.
''You stay away from her.'' He said with a glint in his eyes.
''She is my f*****g fiance and you have no right to talk to her. I tolerated you till now because of our friendship, but if you don't back off now, I'll forget I even met you in my life.'' I said, threatening him.
''Our friendship died when I got to know that you are her fiance. Now there is nothing left. And consider it as a warning or threat, whatever you want, but she will be mine.'' He said with a smirk.
''We'll see,'' I replied with my own. And with that, I walked away from him, not wanting to waste my time there arguing with him wouldn't bore me any fruit. I have to go to my parents and ask them to arrange a meeting with Sakshi's parents as soon as possible. Till then I won't be able to breathe properly. I still wonder how the f**k we got trapped in this f*****g situation.
Flashback [third person]
At the club
''She is something different. None of the previous girls did it for me. I have had a fair share of women in my life, but nothing struck me like her. Kabir said with a dreamy expression on his face.
''You are totally whipped man. By the way, what's her name bro?'' curiosity was clearly visible in Armaan's voice.
''Her name is ---
''Hey, Armaan, what are you doing here bro, come let's go, we are sitting there,'' he said while pointing to a booth in the corner of the room. '' We have been calling you for quite some time now'' Armaan's friend Rishab said.
''Sorry, bro let's go. Okay, Kabir, I'll catch up with you later. Bye'' they both shared a hug before leaving. Armaan left with his friend and Kabir started drinking again while watching people dancing on the dance floor and just then he caught some familiar face or better, a face which he really wished to see right now.
He tried to get up from his seat but couldn't because of the alcohol consumption. He helplessly watched her move her body to the beats of the song. She was graceful but he didn't like her dress and the boy who was dancing very close to her either. He again tried to get up but stumbled back on his stool, and when he looked in her direction she wasn't there anymore.
He frowned and looked everywhere but couldn't find her. When he made sure that she wasn't found anywhere, he resumed his drinking and at last passed out on the bar counter at the same time.
On the other hand, Armaan was enjoying himself with his friends. They were catching up as Armaan was in London for quite some time. That's when he caught a glimpse of Sakshi walking more like striding towards the exit of the club. He was startled to see her there. He knew her parents strictly opposed nightlife or bad habits and clubbing was something which they wouldn't give permission to. So the question was what she was doing here.
He tried to follow her but she was out of sight and he couldn't catch her there and it was better. Better for her because he himself didn't know what he would have done to her if he got a hold of her. So it was best, but he lost the barely-there mood to stay the night, so he messaged his friends that he was going home as he had an early morning meeting. And left from there.
The next day, both Armaan and Kabir decide to pay a visit to Sakshi's office, hoping to catch her there. Both of them arrived at different times and saw her leaving her office. Both started following her, unaware of each other's presence. They only got to know about each other when they reached there and Sakshi's name was called out to take her order. And they reached the counter for her coffee.
''What are you doing here?'' Armaan asked Kabir, taking Sakshi's coffee from the barista.
''I can ask the same question. What are you doing here? And why are you holding Sakshi's coffee?'' Kabir asked him, getting angry now.
''Sakshi is my fiancee and I have full rights to hold her coffee'' Armaan snapped at him while making his way to the booth in which Sakshi was sitting. He scanned the area as soon as he entered the cafe.
''I guess there is a misunderstanding here. Maybe she isn't your fiance and someone else'' Kabir said, walking behind him. Armaan ignored him royally. Because he knows that she is his fiance as he followed her here. He was already frustrated thinking about last night and now Kabir's appearance here only screams one thing and he doesn't want to confirm it, as it will be difficult for him to control himself and he doesn't want to scare his love.
A smile appeared on his face when he saw her talking to someone on the phone, innocently lost in her own world. This is one of the many things he loves about her always lost in her own world, not caring about the world. He took a seat beside her, staring at her all the time. He noticed a shadow from his peripheral view and looked to see who had disturbed him while spending time with his sparrow.
His smile turned to a scowl when he looked at Kabir who was seated in front of him wearing the same expression as him. Having enough of the drama, he cleared his throat for Sakshi to take notice of both their presence and start explaining what Kabir was doing there.
