23 “No!” Tessa screamed, startled. “Let me…” Keith Balon didn’t listen. He had ripped the fire extinguisher from Tessa’s hands and, without warning, smashed it into the getaway car’s windshield. The windshield crumbled but still hung like a glass curtain, so Keith had to hit the fire extinguisher three times before it shattered. Keith pushed the fire extinguisher back into Tessa hands. “Extinguish where necessary!” he ordered. Without hesitation, he lowered his torso into the car, loosened the seat belt, and dragged Caldwell out. “Arrgghh!” Caldwell groaned loudly as Keith pulled him over the glass. Keith Balon did what he had to do. Pulled Caldwell out of the burning car as fast as he could and dragged him as far from the wreckage as possible. “Tess! Get out of there!” Tessa Roxburgh
