Tessa was sitting at her desk when she saw the two detectives come in with the two boys. “Well, well. Do they get a free tour?” Tessa asked, winking at Jamie and Ronny. She knew the two boys all too well. First because they ‘came to visit’ Cherryanne in the hospital. Later because the duo fell under her responsibility. Her babysitting period as Keith described it.
“No, no, This is all part of our master plan,” Aubrey chuckled.
“Okay. Can I speak to you first, Aubrey?”
“Can it wait?” Aubrey said. “I want to deploy those guys as soon as possible. Preferably this afternoon already. If we can get them on the street they’ll be able to spread the news they’re back in business, and I’m sure Murat will then show up again in no time.”
“I understand, but this is urgent Aubrey,” Tessa insiste
