I spend a fitful night tossing and turning in Shay’s bed, rather than sleeping. As much as I’d like to think I could have a meaningless island romance with him and leave it at that, I know I just don’t have it in me. I’m more of a firm, long-term commitment kind of lady.
If I had my preference, I would spend the day at the hospital to be onsite for any news about Baggy, but Ruthie asks me to stay at the resort to represent her with wedding preparations. The cast and crew are back from their break in the hospital, and numerous details for the wedding, which will be streamed live, need to be dealt with. Apparently, the show must go on.
