Here I am, drunk on the floor, blabbering to myself!" I sighed. With each sentence, my mouth was filled with a new draught of liquor. "Why? What happened?" I heard the girl ask. It felt like she had spoken inside my head. As weird as it was, I didn't bother enough to think about it anymore. "He said that he likes me. I thought it was a real confession. So I too, told him about my feelings towards him. The next day, I understood that it was the darned alcohol we had that night." "So? What's the matter here? Everything you said was alcohol speaking. What is there to lament so hard upon?" "Because what I said was the truth. I like him. I like him very much. And it hurts when you know that the one you have feelings for, wouldn't reciprocate them"
