Chapter 48

Jayden and Nathan stopped in their way to Avelyn's room, when they saw her coming out of it on a wheel chair. "Hey! Are you allowed to roama around?" Nathan and Jayden hurried their steps towards her.

"The doctor said that I should start to move around."

"Hmm..that's right. But don't force yourself, your wound isn't healed yet."

Avelyn nodded. "I won't," she smiled.

"Are you two going somewhere?" She asked, as she saw they had dressed up. She watched as they slightly shifted on their spots.

"Didn't Hayden tell you?"

"Tell me what?" Avelyn tilted her head, pretending as she didn't know anything.

"Umm...," Jayden cleared his throat, "we are leaving, we can't stay here all the time, right Nathan?" He awkwardly smiled.

"Yeah yeah...and you should stay here until you recover."

Avelyn watched them both storming their brains to break the news in a safe way to her. She giggled, makin Nathan and Jayden confused.

"I know what you're going to say. Hayden told me last night."

"Aah! That's a relief!" Nathan placed his hand on his chest dramatically.

"But I'm still angry at you two for giving me a forced vacation" she glared at them.

"Sorry Avelyn, it is necessary."

Avelyn sighed. "I know...Well, I'm going to take full advantage of my free time."

"I'm sure you will." Jayden laughed.

Nathan looked at the watch."It's time for us to go!"

"We'll come by often" Jayden assured Avelyn.

"Okay. Take care!"

"You too. If anything happens, call us, okay?"

"I will"

She watched as Nathan and Jayden drive away, from the balcony of her room.
