"Elara, let me remind you, I have no patience!" Tyler rudely pushed her away.
Elara's high heels almost slipped under her feet, and she had to lean against the car to steady herself.
As they entered the mansion, Elara felt small and insignificant. It was like an invisible, luxurious net was covering her from the sky, leaving her with nowhere to escape.
The foyer alone was larger than most people's apartments.
Elara stood there, frozen and intimidated. She had a feeling she knew where they were Tyler's house.
He casually threw his coat on the sofa, and his tall figure was clearly outlined by the black shirt, but it was too aggressive.
Elara lowered her gaze slightly, and she still had some memories from four years ago. She knew what was under that shirt - sexy,
wild, and full of muscular strength.
"Why...did you bring me here?" she asked timidly.
In the face of absolute power, she wouldn't dare to confront it head-on. That would be suicidal.
However, as soon as she finished speaking, she heard a rumbling sound coming from her hungry stomach Elara's face turned red with embarrassment. Since she got off the wedding hall she hadn't even had a sip of water, let alone dinner. After going through all the scares on the way, her physical strength was almost depleted.
"It seems like you're hungry," Tyler said in a cold and stern voice. "Bring it in!"
On the other side, a middle aged woman in work clothes brought a bowl of steaming noodles and placed it on the coffee table.
"Mr Tyler, the vegetable noodles are ready," the housekeeper said and stepped aside respectfully, as if she didn't exist.
But when Elara heard the words "vegetable noodles," her face turned pale.
"Your dinner is ready to be enjoyed," Tyler said, looking at her coldly.
"I...I'm allergic to vegetable noodles and can't eat it," Elara's voice trembled.
She was especially afraid of her allergy because once she ate some vegetables, the situation would become very serious, even life threatening if not treated in time! She had experienced it before...
"So you're wasting my kindness," Tyler's black eyes were filled with anger.
Elara understood. Tyler was doing this on purpose. He wanted her dead!
"No...I can't eat it, I'll die..." Elara resisted, backing away.
Tyler stepped forward, grabbed Elara's arm, and threw her towards the coffee table. "Eat it!"
"Ah!" Elara fell onto the coffee table, her phone sliding out and skidding two or three meters across the floor.
The key was that, in her rush to hide it, she hadn't had time switch off her phone and now her phone screen brightened up.
Elara stared nervously at the exposed phone, ignoring the pain in her knee.
And now Mr Tyler Gush was walking towards the phone.
As he picked up the phone, Elara's breathing and heartbeat stopped.
Tyler held the phone and found that the screen is locked but in flight mode.
"Why's your phone in flight mode" Tyler asked.
"I...I was afraid my friends would call, so I turned it off..." Elara knew that Tyler hated her friends and saw them as enemies, especially Isabella.
"Password." Tyler's gaze swept over her like ice.
Elara's inner fear had spread to her neck, almost suffocating her.
But she knew that the more she felt this way, the more she needed to stay calm.
"Let me..." Elara walked over, took the phone on Tyler's hands and walked to the coffee table, as if afraid someone would see the password.
Tyler just looked at her coldly, with a hint of sarcasm. Elara typed in her password while looking around. Suddenly, she picked up the vegetable noodles on the coffee table and threw them towards Tyler! With a loud bang, the noodles landed between the two of them, splashing soup and water all over the floor, blocking Tyler's way. Tyler's dark eyes flashed with a fierce glint as he shouted, "Catch her!" Elara was so scared that she ran even faster.
As she ran out of the lobby, she saw the bodyguards coming towards her and quickly turned to run in another direction. There was an exposed staircase on one side, and Elara hurriedly ran down it. However, it was difficult to run down the stairs in high heels, let alone in a hurry. Suddenly, she lost her footing and fell down the stairs, screaming, "Ah!" Tyler caught up and stood at the top of the stairs, looking down at her coldly. At the bottom of the stairs, Elara lay on the ground, unconscious, with a head injury and blood flowing down her face.
Elara suddenly woke up, as if she had just escaped from a nightmare. She sat up, feeling dizzy and moaning. She touched her forehead and felt the gauze there. She remembered falling down the stairs and waking up in this strange room. It was already bright outside... Elara panicked and covered her chest, quickly getting out of bed and into the bathroom.
After closing the door, Elara took out her phone from her chest. She had hidden it there when she escaped, and luckily it was safe. Regardless of the situation, Elara immediately deleted all messages about the child from her phone. Anyway, there were backups on the computer in her father's house. After finishing this, she sent a message to Aunt Diane:
"Don't call me, and don't let Fahez call me. I have some issues here. I will call you after it's over. Remember."
Aunt Diane replied: "What happened?"
Elara replied: "Don't worry, I'm fine. Please take good care of Fahez for me."
After finishing the message, Elara walked out of the bathroom. She looked around the room, which was unfamiliar to her, but the low key luxury style made her guess that it was a mansion. She didn't need to think too much to know that it was Tyler's idea. What did he want to do? Regardless of his intentions, Elara would definitely not stay here, with such treatments. She had to leave!
She opened the door and house was so big that she almost got lost. After going downstairs, she didn't care about being seen and just held her phone and left. However, before she reached the large iron gate, she was stopped by someone in front of her. She almost ran into him and had to step back quickly. Elara tried to remain calm and said, "Let me leave."
"This is Mr. Tyler's instruction," the bodyguard replied in a voice as cold as a machine.
"Where is he...where is he?"
"I don't know, most probably at work"
Elara knew that it was impossible to rush out like this. What should she do?
She returned to her room and called Isabella.
The phone calling rang for sometime with no one to receive on the other end.
"Bella pick my call ASAP " Elara said.
But there was no response even after multiple trials.
Elara rubbed her forehead, feeling a headache coming on.
